2018 Hyundai Sonata – Sonata has always been known as this stylish and sleek elegant sedan so a better improvement is expected for the upcoming 2018 Hyundai Sonata. From the exterior appearance alone, the sedan looks better than before – at least, it will definitely turn heads your way when you pass by. A lot of car enthusiasts claim that the Sonata can be compared to the supermodel in the industry.
2018 Hyundai Sonata Exterior Changes
When compared to the 2017 model, the style for the new 2018 Hyundai Sonata won’t be too much different – better details are expected, though. For the new line, you can expect a better improvement on the front side fascia, with the hexagonal grille, a cleaner back look, the new rear bumper, and the long hatchback roof. If you see the design for the 2018 model, the previous style will definitely look odd, complete with the dull rear and front area fascia.
2018 Hyundai Sonata Interior Improvement
There won’t be much change on the interior cabin either. Hyundai doesn’t plan to remove or replace the infotainment screen with different sizes inside the new Sonata. With 7.0 inch of screen in all models and 8.0 inch display complete with the navigation, you should feel an improved performance.
But whereas Hyundai seems to try ‘hiding’ the infotainment system, now they try to show it off by placing a silver accented right. In short, the new interior cabin for 2018 Hyundai Sonata will have better control console for easier access. The available colors will only be black, gray, and beige – which is rather bland. It would be better if they have brown.
2018 Hyundai Sonata Performance
2018 Hyundai Sonata is an elegant ride but don’t expect it to deliver too much sportiness, after all. The vehicle performs well enough and the overall quality is nice and balanced – but then again, it isn’t sporty. For some people, it isn’t something of a big deal, but for some, it is downright disappointing. It depends on your own preference, anyway.
The driving performance is nice. It is quiet. It is smooth. Is has easy control and handle. The engine arrangement with its inline four engine and 2.4 liter capacity delivering 185 hp of power is considered enough to deliver quite satisfying outcome. After all, the direct injection gas cylinder four engine that is paired with the auto six speed transmission should have the promising ability for this new 2018 Hyundai Sonata.
But then again, there is also another option of the inline four turbocharged engine with 2.4 liter capacity that is able to deliver 245 hp of power and a more aggressive auto eight speed transmission. Whatever engine option that you choose, you can always expect the best from 2018 Hyundai Sonata, anyway.
2018 Hyundai Sonata release Date and Price
There will be different price range for the different trims. For the base 2018 Hyundai Sonata SE, the price will start from around $23,000. If you choose the Eco, it starts from around $23,500. Expect to spend almost $28,500 for the Limited. Although there hasn’t been any official confirmation about 2018 Hyundai Sonata, you can expect it to be available this 2017 – the end will be the latest.
