2018 Hyundai Santa Fe – Is it possible to expect a new refresh model for the upcoming 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe? If you ask this to the company, they may answer, why not? Yes, they have refreshed the 2017 model but it doesn’t mean that they can’t upscale another slight updates for the 2018 model.
But unlike what happened to the 2017 model, the changes would be limited to the interior cabin only – and it will include the new telematics technology with the Hyundai Blue Link.
2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Possible Updates
In an overall sense, the overall design for the upcoming 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe will be similar to the 2017 – which is quite new and refreshing, to tell you frankly. The interior won’t be so much different either but you can expect an addition of the wooden premium trim with the leather covered cabin. Considering that the 2017 styling is still good, and top it off with the additional material, you can definitely expect the best from the new Santa Fe.
So, the looks won’t be too much different from the current one; what about the features, anyway? Those won’t change either so you can still expect the heated mirrors, 18 inch wheel from alloy, dual zone control, Hyundai Blue Link, roof side rail, the 7 inch display system with touchscreen, audio system with six speaker arrangement, and so much more.
If you are looking for updated features – and you are willing to spend extra – you can expect the hands free liftgate, navigation system, HID headlights, panoramic sunroof, and also a new audio system with twelve speakers. If you think that’s worth your spending, feel free to buy it.
2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine
For the new Santa Fee, a V6 engine will be used with 3.3 liter capacity, delivering 290 hp of power – along with 252 Nm of torque. It will be paired with the standard front wheel driving system and auto six speed transmission – the alternative option is the all wheel driving system.
Considering that Santa Fe is gaining a good safety rating, you can expect the same safety technologies to be included in the 2018 model. After all, the new 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe won’t be having any significant changes at all. But if you really want to get the best from the safety technology, you should go with the Tech Package – adds up the auto safety system (including the emergency brake) into your option.
2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Release Date and Price
Hyundai hasn’t released the official news about their release date but they have mentioned earlier that dealerships availability should start around summer 2017. Whether it is true or not, we just have to wait for further updates.
They haven’t said anything about the pricing either. But with only a slight change on the model, the price for the new 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe shouldn’t be different from the 2017 model. The starting price should start from around almost $32,000 to up $42,000 – and it already includes the destination fee.
Considering that Santa Fe is going to compete against CX 9 (Mazda), Pilot (Honda), and Highlander (Toyota), Hyundai is getting prepared for it. So, we should wait for further updates about 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe.
